Hi, Here is another of mine, it's taken at "Great Prismatic Spring" in Yellowstone. I got an excellent PDF from Miles Hecker describing places in Yellowstone. He suggested that you "climb" up a hill side to get some elevation. It was a bit warm and it was a bit of a walk so I took only one lens and no tripod. When I was well on the hill side I found out that my lens was a bit to long. So I shot three images and merged as a panorama. http://echophoto.smugmug.com/Travel/Stuff/i-tGm3z4q/0/O/20120919-20120919-DSC03536-2-2.jpgBest regards Erik

Thanks for the compliments, folks, and thanks for sharing your work! Marcia's quite infamous in our local photography group for her cell phone images. I find it will focus down to about a handspan (4" or so). Patricia, I can't really tell you much about this particular tree other than that it's one of a few planted in a local park (Beacon Hill Park). There are large stretches of 'semi' natural areas and other areas that have been planted with exotic flowers, trees, etc. This one is obviously not native to Vancouver Island. Here's another image of the same tree (nine images - 3 x 3 exposures at -1/0/+1) Mike. Dreams of Trees by wolfnowl, on Flickr

Chairman Bill's shots, especially the top image are quite lovely in color, tone, setting, light...I'm sure I've left something out but you understand, I'm sure...very, very nice!
