I do a lot of critique, I enjoy it immensely, and I think it is useful to every artist no matter their experience. I spend a great deal of time with other artists showing and critiquing photography. As for Beach Sand, I can see something very playful here. The colorful towels seemed out of place until I looked closer and noticed the male and female bathing suits; it was kind of a

moment. On the other hand, I found myself wanting to rise up and see what was over the dune with that fabulous piece of driftwood pointing the way and up into the terrific overcast. Without the towels, maybe a little more exposure? Ah, perhaps a hint of HDR
