I enjoy the monotint a lot here. I think it is very effective at rendering the essence of the aircraft. It's giving it more interest and power than it might normally have in plain living color. I think the framing is superb and all that dark uniform sky is the perfect backdrop. I am especially liking the way you handled the fence. It is there, you didn't try removing it as so many might try, and the diffuse rendering is a perfect and honest use of it. Very enjoyable photograph.
