* IXONE * not a scam

Apparently Ixone is a new member and wants to buy a new camera. Another member posted a warning in here because he was concerned that it was possible that the new member was a scammer, because IXONE is a new member and contacted multiple people regarding a camera purchase... It doesn't sound like he is scammer to me.

I wouldn't take it personally IXONE, I'm sure the other poster didn't mean it personally. People make mistakes and scammers are out there...

I have $1000 out on an antique lens that I purchased on the LF forum at this point its looking like that might have been a scammer. So unfortunately it happens but generally its not that hard to tell the difference from a scammer or a real photographer.

The best thing to do if you are unsure of a person is call them on the phone or to see if they have a website with their work (although some don't, like me).
