What's the difference?

Use banner if you want to print a sequence of images without a border/margin between them, or less than the minimum border between them, when using single image print software like Photoshop. If you are using a program which will allow laying out several image as a job, like Lightroom, then you may have little need for banner, unless you need to keep the job size down.

On my small R3000, the banner designation allows me to check a block that minimizes media waste.  Thats the only difference i could find.

I do several jobs where I have to print multiples of the same print, sometimes 30 or more (usually 8x10s).  I had to make up 'pages' in LR for different quantities of these and select the paper size according to how many prints I needed.  Needless to say, my paper size selection is quite large.

Would using the Banner option allow me to select one image, 8x10 for example, and print multiple copies of it without any border/margins between them?
