Hi,

First question:  has anyone dealt with Booksmart Studios before and are they still around?   I ordered a Libro album in late January and got an automated receipt emailed back and my credit card was charged.  But since then, I have emailed four times, used their online form several times, and tried calling several times and have had zero replies from them.  I've never had an experience where you can't even get some kind of reply back from a company and am getting concerned that maybe I should call my credit card company and cancel the charges?  I want to give them the benefit of the doubt but coming up on a month with no product and no replies to email or calls doesn't seem acceptable.

Second question:  Has anyone used the Libro albums before?  What were your impressions?  Also, is there anyplace else to order from or similar products?  My plan was to get the first album back and then to order several more once I did one and was happy with it.

Thanks.

Thanks Ken--

I found that on their website and have emailed the listed email address four times over several weeks as well as left voicemails.  I've also used their website's page to submit messages.  I guess they are going through a business model change but with no responses to anything, I was wondering if they were still in business.  Still-- my credit card was charged so I'm assuming yes they are still in operation.  Even if they have a change in business model, I'm at the point where I may have to call my credit card company to cancel the charge.  I've been patient, but coming up on a month with no replies is a bit much.

I just called their toll-free number and there was no pickup. You've been incredibly patient beyond anything I could muster. If Eric and his crew have suffered some catastrophe it would be unfortunate for themselves as well as the industry in general, but you're certainly justified in notifying your credit card company of the issue and getting the payment credited back to your account.
