Since I've gotten no response on this image, I've decided on a crop and am including the color file as well for comparison. Like, dislike, opinions???

I like the shot, Chris. I prefer the B&W one. In the color version, the colors of the biggest fan catch my eye and distract from the rest of the scene. But the B&W one is very nice.

B&W looks better.

I certainly think the B&W is better but the image as a whole doesn't grab my attention in either crop. For one thing, it isn't perfectly symmetrical, which I think a shot such as this needs to be; and for another, it doesn't seem to have any particular point of interest. Sorry, Chris.

I managed to get it pretty damn close to perfectly symmetrical but as to finding a specific point of interest other than the symmetry... I dunno.

Chris, that's a nicely symmetrical crop but it's clear that you were in fact standing a bit off to the right of the centre area when you took the shot: the fans themselves, the wall lights on the red walls and the sizes of the apertures in the red walls all give it away.
It doesn't feel quite right to me; but mine's only one opinion, of course.

I think the best part of the crop is that the single light fixture on the right is removed....because it didn't have a mate on the left it was just a little distracting to me, I really like the BW version
