I haven't seen this asked anywhere. What are opinions on this plugin? Is it worth the $200? For screen or for Print?

Hi John,

Seems mighty expensive for what it does. I suggest having a look at TopazLabs Detail instead (don't let it's modest price fool you, it's really powerful).

I have it but have not used it for 2 years.
Using Lightroom 4 it use has not necessary. YMMV

I have used it extensively for two years.  I bought the Complete Collection so I didn't pay $200 just for that one plug-in.  I think it's great.  Makes sharpening for web or print ridiculously easy and it's quite powerful.

I have used it since it frist came out on the market and still do today, primarily for its flexibility in creative sharpening when I work on an image in PS.  If I'm outputting the image directly from PS, I will use output sharpening but if the final image will be rendered from LR, then it will be LR output sharpening. I use it and other tools as needed and am not wed to any one tool all the time.  Good product.

I really like the Nik products that I have (Color Efex Pro 4, Silver Efex 2, HDR Efex 2 and Viveza 2) but never went with their sharpener for some reason. I too, ended up with Topaz (the newest version, 3.1, was just released), have found it to be a great tool and for the money, a great value.

I do capture and output sharpening in LR4, but with my work flow being what it is now, almost all creative sharpening goes through Topaz. It's certainly worth the demo.
