Normally I manually hold down the shutter when I'm using the bulb function, I'd like to get a remote, does any body have any ideas?

I use the same one. Very useful device. Make sure you switch the timer function to 3 seconds to avoid camera shake.

Figured I'd want something other than manual release for the bulb function as I'll be shooting in 0C weather, and I'm sure there would be some "camera shake" as i freeze my butt off!

From the Fotodiox company. For use on the 645D it requires a little trimming to fit in correctly, but it does work very well. Has the ability to just dial in the time.  Ray

If you are shooting in cold weather, take a cable release as well--the IR remote battery can get drained. I bought a cheap $6 release and after a little trimming, it fits the camera nicely.
