I think that's a list of general dislikes.
I don't feel contemplative as I would expect to feel fishing like this.
So the image challenges your expectations. Looking at the photo
made me wonder about the sound of that small waterfall. Is there so much din that I'd move on to another quieter fishing spot after 15 minutes? The photo doesn't show someone fishing a placid bend in the stream.
I feel like an observer from the roadside rather than a participant.
Yes, it's the perspective of an observer. Maybe you'd prefer a different photo from the perspective of a fisherman, but is there something "wrong" with a photo from the perspective of an observer?
As for the posted photo, I'm not sure what the bottom 1/5th of the photo adds -- so maybe it could be subtracted.
