Below is the text of my complaint to Topaz regarding moving Custom presets around.  I have complained to them verbally and in writing but nothing has changed.

This problem makes using the program a real PIA

I reinstalled SImplify 4 on my new MAC laptop. I export presets from my desktop to a thumb drive and when importing them into simplify on the new laptop they do not appear anywhere.

Every time I go thru this with your program it is a nightmare. I have 40-50 presets i Use all the time and getting them on a new machine is an awfull experience. I have to export one at a time and I have to rename each one every time. I then have to import only one at a time and that is not working.

YOU NEED TO IMPROVE THIS PART OF THE PROGRAM I SHOULD BE ABLE TO EXPORT MULTIPLES AT THE SAME TIME OR A WHOLE FOLDER AT ONE TIME. THE SAME APPLIES TO IMPORTING AS WELL

NOT BEING ABLE TO DO THE ABOVE IS GIANT PIA. I HAVE COMPLAINED ABOUT IN THE PAST BUT TO NO AVAIL.

ARE YOU LISTENING AND DO YOU CARE??

Hello,

You can simply copy the preset files from your Desktop to your laptop, just as you would copy any other type of files. On Mac, the presets for Simplify 4 are in /Library/Application Support/Topaz Labs/Simplify 4/Presets/.

Hope this helps.
No LUCK. I copied the presets from the library on my desktop into a folder on a thumb drive. Copied the presets from here to the presets fOlder on the new laptop--samE location DID NOT WORK

I then tried to import a single preset and what appeared was a blank preset with no name that did not work. It looks like i will still have to import each preset one at a time

YOU NEED TO FIX THIS PROCESS YOU NEED TO GET YOUR PROGRAMMERS TO MAKE THIS PROCESS USER FRIENDLY. NOT DOING SO MAKES UPGRADING OR USING THE SOFTWARE UNDESIRABLE
