Travel snap shot on the road back from Talisker Distillery. Sadly, it was an overcast day but such is life and photography..

I've shot on Skye in the most dreadful of rain and mist and overcast skies (as I'm sure "Dave on Skye" has as well). I think there is potential in this "snapshot", especially if it was shot in 12 or 14-bit raw and the highlights are not blown out. Much can be done with th sky to make it more atmospheric and much can be done with the rocks and land to bring out details. Even the water can be "improved", although a polarizer would have taken off some of the reflection of the sky. With some "shape" added to the overall photograph, there just might be a bit of a "silk purse" here.

Thanks Terry! I appreciate your comments. It's been some time since we got back from Skye but I just haven't been able to find the time really dig into these photos... I'll give your suggestions a go. Cheers again.
