Hi,

Ive had the A7r about a week now and am largely happy with the results.

There are huge gaps in the instruction manual for quite big ticket items and I was wondering if any Sony users may have the knowledge from their cameras:-

1.   What's the option "Zebra" do in the settings? Amazingly, not even referred to in the index!
2.   How do you set/change the settings that are used for the User 1 and 2 settings on the top dial? I've tried every which way without success so far and both show exactly the same camera settings. I was hoping to set one up for tripod work (100 iso, no peaking, etc) and one for handheld "point and shoot" (auto iso, auto WB, etc)

Thanks in advance of any replies

Zebras are another exposure indication tool, often used in video. You can set 'zebras' to a percentage, 80% zebras, 90% zebras, 100% zebras etc
If they show up in your viewfinder (lines like the animal), you know you have gone over the setting you dialled in. There's a few zebra tutorials around if you google.
