includes: "If I am editing the linked file at the same time as the host file (applies to Illustrator linked objects as well), the host document will update automatically (but they both need to be open)."
I'm not seeing it working as I thought he was describing it. He was talking about editing
the linked file with both open, and didn't mention the need to save the linked file to get it to update automatically where it was placed.
I have base document "A".
I make document "B", and make document "A" a linked smart object. (New feature, in PS CC 14.2.)
I have both document "A" and "B" open. (Each on their own monitor.)
Is there ANY way for my changes to document "A" in realtime show up on document "B"? (Without saving it?)
