Thank you for the suggestion. The 400 lens does not have IS which is important to me. The 70-200/2.8 IS is a great lens and with a TC I can likely get what I want. I will only use the 400mm occasionally. I would consider the 70-300 DO but too much overlap with the 70-200 and not enough difference to justify the purchase. Regardless, thank you again for your help.
