re: Winter Lens Care...
A) Is it better to leave lenses in the car all the time, both day and night?
B) Or, better to keep lenses in the house overnight and move them to and from the car daily?
I’m thinking about thermal swing causing expansion/contraction of lens components and the long term effect on seals, et al. I live in northwest Connecticut (42°N lat), average day high 30 deg. F, night low 15 deg. F, that’s a daily swing cycle of ~15°-20°F. If I bring the lenses in the house each night, that’s daily swing of ~40°-50°F.
Anyone have first hand experience with this? Thoughtful opinions welcome.

I live in Toronto and have also photographed in the Rockies and Colorado Plateau in the winter - no problem taking the camera in overnight (as long as you don't want to use it right away). Condensation and battery life are much bigger problems than joint expansion.
