A different perspective?

Hi all,
I'm just an average amateur photographer on the cusp of the film/digital divide. I work for a magazine publishing company (on the editorial side), and I decided to take a walk through our studio today to see what what I could see. I haven't done that for a while.
In a food set, I saw a guy using a fuji 6x8 taking polaroids and shooting film. In another set, a room, I saw a guy using a Canon 5d with a 90mm t/s lens. (I know these guys have Id bodies and Nikon digital bodies, too). In another food set, I saw a guy tethered up to a Mac with a medium-format digital back, but he had perspective control going on too.
You can kind of sense it. The pros are waiting for art directors to catch up a little bit, and in a lot of cases, I think the 90mm t/s lens and Canon digital bodies will win the day in the end, at least as far as (our) magazine reproduction goes.
I haven't seen any of our contract pros, even though they may have been diehard Hassy users before, invest in the new Hassy digital system. Or Contax or Minolta.
Just thought I'd throw it out there.
