I took a quick look on the net .. and found out that it runs between 800 to 1300 I don't want to spend my time figuring out that is just a scam .. Were do you think a should buy it. what would be the best price I could fin it?

You can put in your zip code and get a 'best' price including tax and shipping. And you can sort the listing on the best prices.

Pay attention to the merchants' ratings.

I don't think I would buy it off ebay.... but that is just me.

I have a friend who acctually just bought a 20D off ebay from some retailer. Got a 20D and some sigma lenses for a good price with no problem. So it is possible.

I just bought a used 20D for $800 + shipping from a private seller on some other photogrpahy forums. It has around 10k sutter actuations and the body is in magnificent shape. If you don't mind buying used gear then I'd seriously consider it as an option.

I'm about to put a 20d on ebay....with remote, 10-22mm canon, 17-85mm canon, hasselblad lens adaptor, 1gb card... all in original boxes/contents and warranty cards not filled out....

about 7500 clicks.... perfect condition...

will hope to get $1900 for it all.
