I was printing a 14 X 11 image. Set the cell to that size and printed as usual. The image came out 14.4 X 11.2. OK, what have I clicked, checked, or overlooked that is causing this? In the print module it show a 14X11 print and, adding the ruler, the margins on the ruler are correct.

Using MacPro 10.5, LR2 2.2, printing on 13X19 stock, and using an Epson R2400.

under the print mod what does the custom file dimension read?

Did you have borderless checked in the Epson dialogue?
James R
Cell size is 14X11

Borderless is checked.

Just printer a 9.5 X 7.5 and it measured 9.25 X 7.5 Now how can it be short on the long side and correct on the short side?

This is driving me crazy.

"Borderless is checked."

You need to uncheck borderless, this is what the drivers do to print borderless. It makes the print larger so it can overspray the edges when doing borderless. If the print is within the borders of the paper it will still enlarge the print because of this being checked.

added-not sure why it would have shortened a side on the 9.5x7.5

Thanks, I'll give it a try.

James,

Let me guess. You have a photo cropped to 8x10 that you want print at 9.5x7.5 so you wind up with a .25 border when trimmed to 8x10 final size?

If this is what you want then go to the top pane in the print module and check zoom to fit. This will fill your 7.5x9.5 cell. An 8x10 photo will shrink to 7.5x9.375 when fitted into your 7.5X9.5 cell without the zoom to fill. You will lose less than 1/8" of content off the top and bottom when you do this.

Another way to do this is create a virtual copy and crop it to the 9.5x7.5 size then print it.

You're right the zoom to fit was unchecked. In desperation, I was trying everything, including unchecking zoom to fit--forgot to check it agian. I'lll get this straightened out. BTW, the file was cropped to 9.5 x 7.5 in PS.

I'm going to start from the beginning tomorrow. It should work, after all, it always has in the past.
