I am using multiple external editing programs (Nik's ). When I attempt to set the additional external editor preferences for more than one at a time, only the current setting is retained. The others default back to their original setting.

Is there a way to have LR's additional external editor's preferences remember all my settings so that re-configuring them each time I use a different one is not necessary?

What version of Lightroom? Sounds like Lr2? In Preferences, Additional Export Settings, save each setting as a preset.
