I think the British Mag Amateur Photographer is involved in offering the City and Guilds qualification. If you are looking to use a qualification to help you get a job it needs to be recognised by potential employers in Ireland so an impressive diploma from the University of Timbuktu may not cut any ice.

Could someone please advise me on where is the best place to do a homestudy or on-line course in Photography with a recognised qualification, preferably diploma or higher that doesn't cost the earth, is thorough and straighforward and can be done in Ireland. Any advise greatly appreciated. Thanks.
