Antarctica - The Experience

Two 2015 Antarctica Workshops
January 26th through February 4th SOLD OUT
and January 31st through February 9th SPACES STILL AVAILABLE

"Having been to Antarctica with Michael and Kevin, I would say after having traveled the world and shot nearly my entire life as an exhibiting photographer,
it was one of my highlights in my life and I talk about it, all the time.  The images and experience of seeing something visionary and nearly extinct from the world,
to see and experience the wildlife and scenery that does not fear humans is amazing.
The images I shot there won me two Smithsonian awards and nearly 18 other international awards". – Tim Wolcott

How many people get to say they have traveled to the bottom of the world?  Not many, however, you could be one of those people. Luminous-Landscape has done a number of expeditions to Antarctica, and is proud to offer again a chance for you to participate in a life changing experience.  Join us In January 2015 as we once again explore Antarctica.

Our unique Photography Worksop offers a chance to visit and photograph one of the most pristine environments on the planet.  We offer a fly over the Drake trip saving two days of travel at both ends of the workshop in possibly some of the roughest seas there is. You will find the workshop lead by not only experienced expedition leaders but some of the finest photographic instructors ever assembled in one location. You’ll travel in complete comfort and enjoy wonderful food aboard the Ocean Nova.

Our Instructor line up is . . .
Art Wolfe Christian Fletcher Joe Cornish Katrin Eismann. Jackie Ranken, and Kevin Raber.

From the moment you board the Ocean Nova until the time you disembark you will be enjoying a trip made up of photographers. Learning, sharing and photography will be non-stop. You’ll have your gear ready because at any time an all hands call could go out as we approach whales, icebergs and great scenes that must be photographed. Photograph icebergs close-up, land on shore and photograph penguins and amazing landscapes, visit abandoned outposts and whaling stations. See nature up close like you never have before. This is an adventure you will come back from with more keepers than any other trip.
