About the Seminar

The goal of the workshop is to help participants become keenly aware of seeing – specifically, seeing precisely what is in their own images.  That process begins with an open critique of each participant’s ten best images.

You will hone photographic skills, learn intuitive self trust, and the ability to think in terms of light, gesture, and color.  You will also become acutely aware of figure / ground relationships.

Jay will inform and challenge participants.  He will illustrate his lectures with slide shows of his work.  This is not a lecture class only.  Questioning is encouraged.  No subject is taboo.  Jay’s energy and knowledge of photography make his class a most demanding and rewarding experience.

Bring your 10 best digital files on CD, DVD or memory stick. And come prepared to have a good time.
